Ah, the ghosts of days gone by raise their heads once again
To be seen and heard and embedded in the minds of those who’d since moved on.
Things once considered dead and gone, never really laid to rest, only hidden away somewhere in the crevices of a deep and empty heart.
Hearing this voice, this delicious honey sweet voice, somehow manages to reveal the beauty of a smile that had all but disappeared, shining like the sun again for all to see.
This sweet distraction stirs deep inside of her a desire for something more than what has been, something more than what is.
Those hands, those beautiful, strong, unforgotten hands…. oh how she longs to feel them drawing her near, as she breathes in that familiar scent which brings about a flood of memories of the passion they’d once shared. The passion of mere children in love, not yet experienced or mature enough to realize what to do with it.
But now, now they are both older and much wiser, and know precisely what to do with passion that makes the mouth water and the body ache.
Ah, this sweet distraction, what will ever become of it in the days to come…
